u box all ur units into 1 place and u leave a hole in the middle then u get 4 arbs n spread em out ( easyest way is over 4 gateways ) then when u go to recalled have all ur arbs clicked n jus click inside that small hole and all of ur units shud b recalled enless u got bad spacing

Thats one way of explaining it.
Personally, I like to explain the concept usings blocks to represent distances in the game. Call me old fashioned, but I grew up playing classic RTS's where a unit could ONLY stand in the centre of "his space". Nowadays you can plop a unit onto any ol' pixel you want! Whats this world coming to? LoL
Anyway, Daily, try to picture a group of goons in a 5x5 grid, 25 goons in all, perfectly aligned.
Now... If you were to recall the very centre goon in that formation, all 25 would be teleported, correct?
Bare with me now... Pretend each dragoon represents 1 block on the map. And that the map is 128 blocks wide. Try to picture a grid overlay on this map, and then place two arbiters exactly 6 of these blocks apart, but on the same row of blocks.
And then, place two sets of 25 goons (as I mentioned above) side by side, so that you have a formation of 10 dragoons wide, by 5 dragoons down. (50 in all)
This is the tricky part: Send your two arbiters to the same location on the map, click R and, using the minimap, target the very centre[/i] of your 10x5 dragoon formation, and if all goes well each of your two arbiters will recall its own group of 5x5 dragoons, because each arb was equi-distant from centre unit of both 5x5 dragoon clusters.

Wow thats something new lol. Clicking on the minimap would be pretty hard to get the perfect spot on Starcrafts lil' screen o' 640x480 -_-

Yea, its all pretty much theoretical. Once you've got the basics down, daily, you can work on making the process easier.
All you have to remember is that the spacing between a group of spells being cast is directly proportional to the spacing between the units that cast them... If that makes any sense at all.

You guys do this the hard way, LOL Just fucking don't leave a space in between and press right in the middle of your army in the minimap, so much easier, as long as your arbs are spaced, it works the same if not better. That space shit is white ehh black?

Mike, its so cheap man.
Ok, basically you rally everything into one big spot. then you make a hole in the very center of your rally spot. i.e ( o ) by killing the unit that is standing there. now group your arbs to the about diameter of your rally group.
so, if your group is <--------------------------------------> big across the screen, then set your arbs
<--------------------------> X-------------------------X
O
X-------------------------X <-------------------------- >= the size of your mass units rallied.
So now all your do is hotkey your four arbs , click on "r" then click on the hole you just made.
by doing that, you will recall all four groups. NO more 1r2r3r4r....... yeah, I tried that the other day, works too well, and now i see how those big ass recalls are done. This was a big secret in west for a very long time until someone said something. I think that's how Lucivar recalled so big.

So with your method, you don't click on the minimap when u recall, you click on the hole on the screen?
Also, I'm starting to think that this method isn't that cheap, since its hard to pull off (takes time to set up arb spacing, other team can emp well, won't work very well as a fast wall recall, etc...).

Well, ever since I started doing 1 arb click, I maybe got stoped 1 / 10 times in a recall. Its very cheap and should be stopped. My self have stopped 1 click. Only time ill ever use it if oppenent is usuing it very cheaply on my allys.

Well, I don't think its hard to set up. All you need to do is rally them well. I can rough rally under one minute using the mini map and short key "r". I usually pick a small traget on the ground... if you look at the ground, there are something small spots or dots, use that dot as the rally point and it will do fine. that's a bit more time, but you will save a lot of time when you wanna mass recall without to much fixing the mass.... as for arb set up, someone said something about setting up arbs over gateways... oh yeah that works, i tried that last night. but i didnt get to recall cause Gunz[BF] attacked middle with 5 sets of guards and tanks push, plus I was middle toss :/ but the setup of arbs is a good idea cause its hard for the other team to freeze your arbs when you are freezing the middle. 4 arbs = 8 freeze. That's alot.... Anyways, What I do is hotkey "0" all four arbs, pick a waypoint on the mini map, click on "R" so i can recall at anytime i choose, as soon as iam close enough to the wall ( now this take timing) , I click on the small hole and all four arbs recalled. That's how you recall even if got emped at the wall or lock down... Its easy, I did all on my frist try in one game and works well great.... I said it was cheap coz I never knew about this tech until now!!! I would look at old replays and I see uncas mass recalling and all 4 arbs recalling at the same time. I was thinking, holy shit, he's got fast fingers.... lol ... (manual recall 1r2r3r4r) what a noob i am. well anyways, good tech, very deadly against all races.
