Tomas Vokoun and the Czech Republic thwarted Canada's attempt to win three straight world hockey championships, defeating Canada 3-0 Sunday in Vienna, Austria. Vokoun made 30 saves to secure the win, while Vaclav Prospal, Martin Rucinsky and Josef Vasicek scored for the Czech Republic.

Yeah Canada got owned badly. Rick Nash did really fuckin good in that tourny tho for how young he is. Hes also from Southern Ontario like alot of us

ya, i was kind of disappointed in the turn out, but i add the fact that we havent played a hockey season since the NHL lockout, which i think has given the other countries a sort of "advantage" . But at least we got this far.

If anyone else is from ontario then u'd have heard about the memorial cup in London. the london knights are gonna win it for sure. The owners of the london knights live like a 5 minute walk from where i live so i keep up with there progress.

London won the Memorial Cup. They didnt lose 1 game in the entire tourny. Gj london.
